PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Alterations to existing Admin / Classroom building in order to update restrooms to current
accessibility standards, interior wall reconfigurations in order to accommodate modifications in use, new mechanical systems, updating communications systems, updating lighting and electrical systems, updating fire alarm system, new and replacement doors and general updating of all door hardware. The project also involves the updating of interior finishes in classrooms and office spaces, such as new flooring, ceilings, casework, and painting. Classrooms will receive new tack boards and marker boards. The project also includes alterations to the existing wood-framed structural system, required due to changes to interior walls. Selective exterior sidewalk replacement and other site improvements are included.
This is a prevailing wage project.
The applicable trades: abatement, hard demo, soft demo, site clearing, site grading, trenching and backfilling, storm drainage, site concrete, cast-in-place concrete, structural steel, cold-formed metal framing, architectural metalwork, rough carpentry, architectural woodwork, plastic paneling, Insulation, roofing patch, sheet metal flashing and trim, steel frames, wood doors, aluminum entrances, finish hardware, glass and glazing, gypsum plaster, portland cement plaster, drywall, ceramic tile, acoustical tile ceilings, acoustical panel ceilings, resilient flooring, painting, visual display units, signage, fire extinguishers and cabinets, toilet and bath accessories roller shades, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire alarm system.
INSURANCE: Bidders shall provide the following insurance minimums: commercial general liability insurance products, completed operations, waiver of subrogation, protective coverage with non-owned & hired vehicles; $2 million each occurrence. Additional insured and hold harmless per endorsement CG 2010 form 1185 or equivalent, comprehensive automobile liability and Workman’s Compensation Insurance, including waiver of subrogation, for at least $1 mil each occurrence.
BONDING: Performance and labor bonding may be required; costs will be added to your proposal
