PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project includes gym and restroom renovations at Carpinteria High School. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: new bleachers, new boys and girls lockers (ADA Compliant), new floor drains and piping, removal of certain concrete floors then replace, patch and repair, remove tile from restrooms and showers then install new tile making all restrooms ADA; add motorized backstops and new scoreboards in the basketball gym, exterior concrete work; and all new doors and hardware.
This is a prevailing wage project.
The applicable trades: abatement, hard demo, soft demo, concrete, site concrete, cabinetry for trophy case, steel for roof ladder, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, insulation, roof patches, doors and hardware, storefront, interior gypsum plaster, drywall, flooring, acoustical ceilings, painting, tile, toilet accessories, signage, duct cleaning, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, communication, fire alarm, retractable bleachers, scoreboards, lockers and benches, motorized basketball backstops winches, chain link fencing batting cages, visual display boards.
INSURANCE: Bidders shall provide the following insurance minimums: commercial general liability insurance products, completed operations, waiver of subrogation, protective coverage with non-owned & hired vehicles; $2 million each occurrence. Additional insured and hold harmless per endorsement CG 2010 form 1185 or equivalent, comprehensive automobile liability and Workman’s Compensation Insurance, including waiver of subrogation, for at least $1 mil each occurrence.
BONDING: Performance and labor bonding may be required; costs will be added to your proposal
